MATADOR
FUTBOL CLUB was founded in Los Angeles in 2006.
The First Team began its play in the highly competitive El Volcan Soccer League in
2006, competing in the Semi Pro Division. Currently the team is participating in the LA Soccer League Semi
Pro Division. The team has a solid group of players with high level experience, some having played for
Division 1 College teams and also professionally. Games for the First Team's LA Soccer League Semi
Pro Division are on Sundays at Ross Snyder Recreation Center's "Nike Field", 1501 E. 41st Street, located
behind Jefferson High School in Los Angeles. The team is managed by Luis Garcia.
The Over
30 Team was originally known as TP UNITED (founded 2001) and currently competes in the Los Angeles Premier League
(www.lapremierleague.com). TP UNITED recently made the transition to
MATADOR FC after acquiring new sponsorship from the companies @ RADICAL media AND BALLA POWDER
in 2007.
Games for the Over 30's Los Angeles Premier League are played throughout the week at
Crossroads School in Santa Monica, at 1715 Olympic Boulevard.
